The Brandywine Health Foundation welcomes all non-profit organizations serving the Greater Coatesville area that meet the Brandywine Health Foundation’s strategic priorities to apply now for our annual grantmaking cycle. The grant application deadline is Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Margaret Rivello, Vice Chair of the Brandywine Health Foundation Board of Directors and Chair of the Foundation’s Grantmaking Committee, noted, “As the foundation enters the third and final year of our current strategic plan, the priorities for our 2019 grantmaking remain the same.”

Brandywine Health Foundation’s Strategic Priorities for 2016 – 2019

Priority 1: Health Equity – Ensure that every resident of the Greater Coatesville community has the opportunity to make choices that will allow them to live a long and healthy life, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, disability, income or background.

Priority 2: Healthy Youth – Empower youth aged 12 – 24 in our community to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, cultivate leadership skills and experience, and achieve their goals for the future.

Priority 3: Healthy Community – Improve community conditions that help impact the health of everyone in Greater Coatesville.

Rivello continued, “This fall, the Foundation will embark on a new strategic planning process for 2020-2022.  We welcome and encourage all stakeholders to engage in this process by attending our upcoming three-part Culture of Health Series “Let’s Talk Coatesville”, slated to begin in October and continue through February 2019.  It is critical that our entire community partner with us to help shape our new strategic direction and priorities.”
